Stepping back into frame.
It's been six months! Good morning, and happy November.
It’s been a few months (six, to be precise!) since my last post — and a lot has happened. I paused my Substack in line with a lot of other things in life, and as we settle into the chillier months and my scheduled posts build up, it feels like the right time to come back into frame.

There’s a page turning with all things career, style, and travel. I renamed my Substack to TheStyleStrat — in line with separating the content from identity, and staying on topic. I hope you like it.
Over the past few months, I…
Visited my parents abroad, with quick stops in Paris and Amsterdam
Stepped into a new role at a new company, continuing my growth in strategy
Became a Pilates instructor at a private studio, with ~150 clients to date (crazy)
Adopted the cutest and most mischievous tabby from our local PetSmart
Mentored a few go-getters in their pre-MBA journey re: application strategy
Neglected my 2025 book list, social media, and of course, Substack — but we knew that.
As I find my rhythm again, this space will center on the themes that continue to shape my day:
Style. Continuing the balance of style, substance, and function. A few fun posts here scheduled as I get acclimated to working in-office again.
Career. I’ll always say this: there are a ton of creators with greater advice than I can give. I’ll share thoughts and ideas over my career journey, as well as the path into and out of an MBA program. Longer-form posts and reflections will be behind Substack’s subscription — more intentional, and creating content of value for those who genuinely want to read it.
Travel. This is the fun part. I love putting together itineraries and exploring a new city. I’ll share photos, experiences, and recommendations on where we went and what we did. I just spent a hot minute in New York, which I’m thrilled to be doing more often.
Let me know if you have any thoughts, comments, questions, suggestions. I’m so excited to be back. I love it here, on Substack.
